Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Your 3-day Marrakech to Fes desert adventure begins with an early departure from Marrakech, as we cross the winding roads of the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Along the way, you will marvel at stunning landscapes dotted with traditional Berber villages. We make a stop to visit the iconic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and popular filming location for international movies. After lunch in Ouarzazate, often called the Hollywood of Africa, the journey continues through the Valley of Roses before reaching the spectacular Dades Valley, where you will spend the night in a traditional riad or hotel.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we travel along the scenic road of the Dades Valley, also known as the “road of a thousand kasbahs.” The journey takes us to the breathtaking Todra Gorges, where you will have time to walk and admire the towering cliffs. We then continue through Erfoud and Rissani, famous for their fossil products and vibrant markets, before arriving in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. In the afternoon, a camel caravan awaits to take you across the mesmerizing dunes of Erg Chebbi. As the sun sets, you will arrive at your luxury desert camp, where you will enjoy dinner, live Berber music, and a magical night under the starry sky.

Day 3: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Ifrane – Fes

The road takes us through the lush Ziz Valley, with its endless palm groves, and across the Middle Atlas Mountains. We stop in Midelt for lunch, before continuing through the cedar forests of Azrou, home to wild monkeys. The journey also passes through the charming town of Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” thanks to its alpine-style architecture. By evening, you will arrive in Fes, where the tour ends.
